Vigneshwara Temple is situated in the place called Ozar, Pune district of Maharashtra. Vigneshwara Temple is also called as Vighnahar Ganapati temple.
Vigneshwara temple was said to be renovated by an able military commander Chimaji Appa, who rescued the western coast of India from Portuguese.
Vigneshwara Temple is revered as one of the Ashtavinayaka temples, dedicated to Lord Ganesha. And this temple takes the seventh place among the eight temples.

And a notable and important one to be known is that the pilgrimage visit to all the Ashtavinayaka temples is said to be fulfilled only after the Revisit to the first temple of Ashtavinayaka temples. i.e., visiting back to the Morgan Ganesha Temple. The procedure of worshiping Ashtavinayaka temples is based on the Shashtra, a sacred Hindu scripture.
Fortes of Vigneshwara Temple
The main god of Vigneshwara temple is Lord Vigneshwara (Lord Ganesha). He is also called as Lord Vignahar. And notably the trunk of Lord Ganesha at this temple is tilted towards the left. Lord Vigneshwara is believed to be the Lord of obstacles who removes the obstacles of the devotees of Lord Ganesha.
The idols are made out of brass. The idol of Lord Gnaesha is adorned with diamonds on His forehead and navel and His eyes are decorated with emeralds. And Lord Vigbrassneshwara is bounded with His consorts Goddess Siddhi and Goddess Riddhi.
The temple locates the deity of mouse, the mount of Lord Ganesha which is of 10 feet height and made of marble.The temple also consists of Dvarapalakas, the gate keepers, made of stone, and a row of musicians sculptured in the temple and also has a sculpture of Lord Ganesha enclosed with parrots, monkeys and foliage. The the tower that crowns the innermost sanctum of the temple is shrouded with gold.
The temple contains a pair of deepamalas, the holy towered lamps, placed in the gateway of the temple, which glows even in the night. There is also separate available for the meditation process.
